The Florida Odia Society’s Annual Gala and Cultural Night 2024 was everything we had hoped for and more. Over 500 members, guests, and friends gathered at the Marriott Grand Ballroom for an unforgettable evening of cultural celebration.
The highlight of the evening was a breathtaking Odissi dance performance by our youth students, who have been training for over six months. The audience was moved to a standing ovation.
Awards were presented in three categories: Cultural Excellence went to our Odissi dance troupe, Youth Achievement was awarded to Priya Nayak for her contributions to the Odia Language School, and Community Service was presented to the volunteer team that organized this year’s Ratha Yatra.
We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, and every member who made 2024 such a remarkable year for the Florida Odia community. We look forward to an even bigger 2025!
